And off I go...

After completing my K-12 Art Education Licensure in the spring of 2011, I am off into the real world: a world of low funds and only a hand-full of actual art education jobs. But, I'm in Alaska, the mother of all states, and Alaska has it's artist perks. The State offers teaching artists opportunities across the state in urban and rural settings to teach their art form, yet another reason why Alaska, in all her glory, is amazing. Kids, art, travel and a little cash--- what more could a girl ask for?
